Trip report: Proof-of-concept on the Freshfields Icefield

A team of twenty researchers, doctors, guides and mountain enthusiasts flew into a glacier camp at 2,950m on the Freshfields Icefield to simulate the terrain and conditions ahead of a high-altitude research expedition to Mt. Logan in 2027, where we'll be the first team to assess both women's and men's physiological responses to altitude ascent.
